Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of methane gas refueling stations

The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has announced the introduction of temporary restrictions on the operation of methane gas filling stations in the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made due to a decrease in gas supply pressure. The ministry issued an official statement regarding this.
It was emphasized that the primary priority is to ensure uninterrupted natural gas supply to residential households and socially significant facilities. To achieve this goal, the operating hours of methane gas filling stations are planned to be limited according to a schedule agreed upon with local authorities.
According to these restrictions, starting from January 8, methane gas filling stations will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In the Fergana Valley, the operating hours will be determined in coordination with local authorities based on the gas pressure situation.
The ministry stated that during periods of reduced gas pressure, supplying gas to the population, public transport, and social sector institutions is of primary importance. Necessary measures are being taken to meet the needs of public transport and the population.
Additionally, depending on the overall gas supply situation and consumption volume, the operating mode of methane gas filling stations may change. These measures are being implemented to ensure the rational use of gas resources and stabilize supply.
These restrictions are temporary, and work to stabilize gas pressure is ongoing.
