Methane refueling station working hours have been reduced

Starting from January 8, the working hours of methane gas filling stations in Uzbekistan will be temporarily reduced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information from the Ministry of Energy, fuel filling stations (AYoQSh) will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. These restrictions have been introduced due to a drop in pressure in the main gas pipelines.
The ministry noted that the current main goal is to ensure uninterrupted natural gas supply to the population and social sector facilities. In coordination with local authorities, the working schedule of methane filling stations is being reviewed.
In particular, in the Fergana Valley, the working schedule of the stations will be determined together with regional authorities depending on the gas pressure. The Ministry of Energy stated that during periods of reduced gas pressure, priority is given to supplying gas to residential areas, public transport, and social facilities.
Ensuring the continuous operation of public transport and meeting the daily needs of the population remain important priorities. The working schedule of methane filling stations is regularly adjusted based on the state of gas supply, pressure levels, and consumption volumes.
These measures are being implemented to use gas resources efficiently and maintain stable energy supply. The ministry emphasized that the restrictions are temporary and noted that appropriate work is underway to normalize the gas pressure in the system.
As a reminder, on December 25, some buses deviated from their routes in Tashkent due to queues at methane filling stations.
