Earthquake of magnitude 5.3 felt in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

On January 9 at 02:14, an earthquake occurred in the territory of Tajikistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the data provided by the Republican Seismological Monitoring Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.3. The epicenter of the tremor was located 477 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, in the mountainous region of Badakhshan, Tajikistan.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 139 kilometers. It is reported that the earthquake was also felt in some regions of Uzbekistan.
Specifically, it was felt at around 2-3 points in the Fergana region, and about 2 points in the Andijan and Namangan regions. So far, there have been no reports of casualties as a result of the earthquake.
