In 2025, 80 thousand foreigners came to Uzbekistan for medical treatment

The National Statistics Committee has released new data on the number of foreigners who came to Uzbekistan for medical treatment from January to November 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this period, 80,653 foreign citizens visited the country to use medical services. According to the statistics, the majority of foreigners came from neighboring countries.
Specifically, 55,851 citizens from Tajikistan, 14,296 from Kyrgyzstan, and 7,633 from Kazakhstan visited Uzbekistan for treatment. These figures indicate that the quality of medical services in Uzbekistan is improving, as well as the number of private clinics increasing.
Additionally, 1,820 citizens from Russia, 678 from Afghanistan, and 219 from Turkmenistan came to our country for medical treatment. It is also observed that the number of visitors from countries such as Turkey, the USA, China, and Azerbaijan seeking medical services is increasing.
The number of foreigners visiting from other countries amounted to 69. According to experts, this growth proves that Uzbekistan is striving to meet international standards in the field of medical services and that the quality of services is improving.
The activation of relations with neighboring countries also positively affects these results. Overall, the demand for medical services in our country is increasing.
