More than 80 thousand patients came to Uzbekistan in 2025

The National Statistics Committee reported that the number of foreign citizens who came to Uzbekistan to use medical services from January to November 2025 reached 80,653. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This indicator confirms that our country has achieved significant success in the field of medical tourism and that the trust of foreign patients in Uzbekistan is increasing. Most of the foreign patients who came during this period were citizens of neighboring countries.
In particular, 55,851 citizens from Tajikistan, 14,296 from Kyrgyzstan, and 7,633 from Kazakhstan were treated in our country. In addition, patients also came from Russia, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Turkey.
According to exact figures, 1,820 citizens from Russia, 678 from Afghanistan, 219 from Turkmenistan, and 47 from Turkey used medical services. Also, 15 citizens each from the USA and China, and 10 from Azerbaijan visited for treatment.
At the same time, from January to November 2025, the number of foreign citizens who came to Uzbekistan for tourism purposes reached 10.7 million. Tourists from more than 200 countries visit to enjoy the cultural and natural wealth of our country.
Among them, the number of men was 5,850,226, and women accounted for 4,899,104. By age groups, 1,383,437 tourists were aged 0–18, 1,756,723 aged 19–30, 5,427,650 aged 31–55, and 2,181,520 tourists were over 56 years old.
These figures show that Uzbekistan's medical and tourism potential is expanding year by year. This creates new opportunities to improve the medical infrastructure and strengthen international cooperation in our country.
