In January, warm days are replaced by cold ones

In mid-January, a significant change in weather is expected across the regions of the republic. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to meteorologists, on January 13–14, due to the influence of warm air flow coming from Turkmenistan, the weather will be warm in some areas. Especially in the southern regions, the temperature may rise up to +20 degrees.
During this period, a spring-like mood may prevail. However, starting from the middle of the week, the weather will change drastically.
On January 15–16, as a result of a cyclone entering from Turkmenistan, heavy precipitation may be observed in the Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Tashkent regions. The precipitation will mainly be in the form of rain, and in some areas, water accumulation and even local floods are not out of the question.
For this reason, specialists recommend that the population take precautionary measures. Starting from the third ten-day period of January, cold weather will prevail.
On January 21, a sharp drop in temperature is expected in many areas. From January 22, daytime temperatures may also fall below zero degrees.
According to meteorological data, the coldest days of the month will fall on January 25–26. In Tashkent city, nighttime temperatures may drop to -10 degrees.
In the northern regions of Karakalpakstan, abnormal cold is expected. Specialists advise being prepared for sudden weather changes and to be cautious when planning trips or daily activities.
