Afghan specialists will improve their mining skills in Uzbekistan

A technical delegation from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Oil of Afghanistan visited Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The purpose of this visit is to enhance the knowledge and skills of Afghan specialists in the mining sector. Uzbekistan, as a country with rich experience in mining and geology, is developing cooperation with its neighboring state in this field.
The Afghan delegation will participate in a 28-day advanced training course. During the course, they will become closely acquainted with modern technologies, mining processes, and geological research methods.
This program is organized under the sponsorship of “Uzbek Overseas Geology Company” and is held at the “Institute for Advanced Training of Mining and Geology Sector Employees” affiliated with the University of Geological Sciences. The main topic of the course is “Laboratory and Analytical Research in Geological Exploration and Mining Industry,” which includes both theoretical knowledge and practical exercises and laboratory research.
This visit serves to strengthen professional cooperation in the mining sector between the two countries, facilitate experience exchange, and train qualified personnel. Such training programs play an important role in developing strategic relations between the two nations.
