On January 16–17, a cold wave is expected

The Hydrometeorology Service Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet) has warned about a sharp change in air temperature in the coming days. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the information, cold air masses will enter the territory of the country on January 16–17. This will lead to a decrease in temperature.
In particular, intensification of cold is expected during daytime and nighttime hours. Also, under the influence of an anticyclone, short-term precipitation may be observed in some areas.
This precipitation may take the form of rain or snow. As a result of precipitation and wind, fine particles accumulated in the air will be washed away, and the atmospheric air quality is forecasted to improve to some extent.
Experts advise citizens to be cautious, taking weather conditions into account. Especially during periods of severe cold and precipitation, it is necessary to dress warmly and take precautions when using vehicles.
