Diseases that permit not wearing a seatbelt have been confirmed

On January 14, a list of diseases permitting certain individuals in Uzbekistan to be exempt from wearing seat belts in vehicles was approved. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Ministry of Health announced this information. Persons with diseases included in this list may exercise the right not to wear a seat belt.
However, a medical certificate is required for this. The certificate is issued electronically by a state medical institution or a primary healthcare provider.
It is emphasized that only serious medical conditions are considered in the list. This measure especially provides convenience for patients whose health is at risk.
At the same time, these rules are aimed at ensuring road safety and have been developed taking into account the needs of patients. Source: Ministry of Health.
