Travel to Egypt increased by 47.7 percent in 2025
From January to November 2025, 60,979 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Egypt for tourism purposes. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The National Statistics Committee provided this information. This figure increased by 19.7 thousand people, or 47.7 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The largest share by travel purpose was for leisure and tourism. In this category, 55,090 citizens visited Egypt.

The second most common reason was visiting relatives. For this purpose, 5,679 citizens traveled to Egypt.

Trips for other purposes were significantly fewer. Specifically, 172 citizens traveled for medical treatment, 20 for education, and 18 for work-related reasons.
