Due to the cold, the operation of gas branches has been limited

Due to a sharp drop in air temperature, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of gas filling stations for vehicles. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On January 20, the Ministry of Energy issued an official statement regarding this. According to the ministry, in order to ensure uninterrupted supply of energy resources, the energy system is currently operating in an intensified 24-hour mode.
It was emphasized that malfunctions occurring in the regions are being resolved as quickly as possible. As a result of the temperature drop, the demand for natural gas has significantly increased, leading to a decrease in pressure in the gas networks.
Therefore, compressor stations for vehicle gas filling are temporarily restricted. These measures are primarily aimed at maintaining a stable gas supply for the population during cold days.
Once the situation normalizes, the restrictions may be gradually lifted. It has been established that gas supply for social sector facilities and public transport will continue uninterrupted to meet the needs of the population.
Additional information may be provided depending on the situation in the regions. Detailed information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
