Khayriddin Sultanov awarded the title of "People's Writer"

Xayriddin Sultonov, advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and author working on the speeches of the head of state, was awarded the honorary title of "People's Writer of Uzbekistan." This was reported by Zamin.uz.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the relevant decree regarding this. According to the official document, this title was awarded to Xayriddin Sultonov for his many years of dedicated work, his significant contribution to Uzbek literature and culture, his works on historical and contemporary themes, as well as his services in educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland and loyalty to the ideas of independence.
Additionally, his active role in the socio-political life of the country was specially recognized. This decision was made on the occasion of the writer's 70th birthday.
Xayriddin Sultonov was born in Tuzel village, Qibray district, Tashkent region. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Tashkent State University.
Throughout his career, he worked at the magazines "Guliston" and "Yoshlik," as well as at the publishing house of literature and art. Since 1993, Xayriddin Sultonov has held various leadership positions in the Presidential Administration.
As a state advisor, he dealt with public relations, culture, and press matters. From 1999 to 2003, he also served as a deputy of the Oliy Majlis.
Xayriddin Sultonov is the author of several collections of stories and novellas. His works include titles such as "The Sun Shines Equally on Everyone," "An Evening Tale," "Motherland," and "Life Goes On..."
The figure of Babur holds a special place in the writer's creativity. This theme is extensively covered in the novella "Shores of Happiness" and the educational novel "Boburiy-noma."
This novel is one of the significant works in contemporary Uzbek literature.
