On weekends, the weather warms up, and the wind strengthens
The "O‘zgidromet" service has provided weather information for the upcoming weekend. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the data, today and tonight the territory of Uzbekistan will be under the influence of a cold anticyclone. As a result, daytime temperatures are expected to be around 0–3 degrees below zero.
The cold may be noticeably felt. On January 24, the cold anticyclone will move away from the region and the influence of cold air masses will gradually decrease.
Therefore, daytime temperatures will rise to 0–3 degrees above zero. This will reduce the sharp feeling of cold.
On January 25, temperatures are expected to rise again. At night, temperatures will soften from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero, while during the day it will warm up to 5–8 degrees above zero.
Such weather conditions will be more comfortable for the weekend. At the same time, on January 24–25, wind may strengthen in some regions of the republic.
Wind speeds may reach 15–20 m/s, and in some places up to 22–25 m/s. Therefore, caution is advised in open areas.
The strengthening wind may make the cold feel even more intense. No precipitation is expected in Tashkent city today and tomorrow.
However, there is a possibility of fog at night and in the morning. For this reason, drivers are advised to increase caution on the roads, reduce speed, and maintain distance.
