President reviewed the "Sinomed" medical center in Tashkent

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Almazar district and familiarized himself with the activities of the new multidisciplinary "Sinomed" medical center. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This visit is a practical continuation of the state leader's policy to support the private sector in healthcare and expand its capabilities. Currently, 30 percent of medical services in our country are provided by private clinics.
The government aims to improve conditions in this area and expand the activities of private medical institutions. The "Sinomed" center, established for this purpose, is a large-scale project worth 30 million dollars, equipped with modern technologies.
The equipment was imported from the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, and Germany. The center has the capacity to serve up to 4,500 patients annually.
Services are provided here in areas such as surgery, pediatrics, traumatology, orthopedics, and endocrinology. In addition, more than 300 jobs have been created at the center, with over 80 doctors employed.
Most of them have studied and undergone practical training at leading clinics in South Korea, Germany, Turkey, India, and the USA. Foreign specialists also work at the center, and services are organized in accordance with international standards.
The first private maternity complex in Tashkent city has also been launched within this center. The maternity ward can accommodate 30 women simultaneously.
While reviewing the monitoring system from pregnancy to the postpartum period, the President emphasized the importance of quality prenatal care and the development of a healthy motherhood culture. The center also hosts the largest private vaccination point in the republic and the only specialized sterilization center.
Additionally, call centers and mobile patronage groups have been established to create convenience for the population. The clinic plans to increase the number of beds in the future and expand preventive programs for children.
In a conversation with the team, the President noted that the return of qualified doctors to the country and the implementation of advanced experience and knowledge through them are important results of the reforms. He also emphasized that the development of the private sector is crucial in providing the population with choice and improving the quality of services.
