Gas quota extended in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm

The basic natural gas norm set for the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region has been extended until March 15, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Ministry of Energy announced this. According to forecasts by "Uzgidromet," the air temperature in these regions is expected to be low during the first half of March.
For this reason, an appropriate decision was made to support the population. Based on the President's directive, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to extend the 500 cubic meter basic norm established for the heating season specifically for Karakalpakstan and Khorezm.
This norm will be valid for these regions until March 15, 2026. This decision aims to support the population during the cold season and improve their energy supply.
Thus, necessary measures are being taken to ensure that the local population does not face problems with gas supply.
