The "Second Chance" project has started for young people who have served their sentences

The issue of reintegration of young people who have completed their sentences in correctional institutions in Uzbekistan was discussed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It was emphasized that they face many difficulties during this process. Therefore, it is necessary to provide these young people with clear guidance, practical professions, and stable sources of income.
For this purpose, the "Second Chance" project was planned to be implemented. Within the framework of the project, young people who have served their sentences will be trained in modern professions such as programming, web design, and computer engineering through 8-12 month intensive courses.
Additionally, foreign languages will also be taught. At the end of these courses, practical assistance will be provided to help the youth find profitable employment.
The project will start on June 1 in the Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Tashkent regions and is planned to be expanded throughout the country in the future. After the head of state concluded his speech, open dialogues were held with the youth.
During the event, reports from officials were heard, and the proposals and initiatives of the youth were listened to. The "Second Chance" project is aimed at the future of young people, and if the system works properly, it will create new opportunities for thousands of young people and be a strong step in increasing the number of useful personnel for society.
