Uzbekistan tourism sets a record: more than a million foreign tourists visited in one month!
In April 2025, Uzbekistan achieved a completely new and unprecedented result in the tourism sector – for the first time, more than one million foreign tourists visited our country in a single month. The Tourism Committee highlighted that this figure is an effective result of the comprehensive and systematic reforms being implemented in the tourism sector of the country.

The series of important decrees and decisions adopted under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to develop the tourism sector as a strategic direction serves as the main reason for these results. Additionally, attracting foreign investments, the country's openness policy, expanding visa-free regimes, and strengthening cooperation with foreign countries in tourism are also positively influencing the rapid growth of this sector.

In particular, Uzbekistan's active participation in major international tourism fairs and forums is increasing interest in our country and enhancing its global reputation. Through such events, the rich cultural and historical heritage, unique nature, and magnificent architectural monuments of our country are being widely promoted on the international stage, further increasing the desire of foreign tourists to visit Uzbekistan.

To enhance Uzbekistan's tourism potential, extensive work is being carried out to improve infrastructure, raise the quality and diversity of tourism services to a higher level, and develop ecological and sustainable tourism directions.

Specifically, efforts are actively underway to modernize tourism infrastructure across the country, build new hotels, transport services, and modern tourist facilities that meet international demands and standards. Additionally, foreign specialists are being involved to improve the quality and diversity of services provided to tourists, with special attention given to enhancing the qualifications of local staff.

Developing ecological tourism to preserve the beautiful nature and unique ecosystems of our country is also one of the priority directions for Uzbekistan. In this regard, national parks, reserves, and special ecological areas are being established, and foreign investments are being attracted to projects in sustainable tourism directions.

In the coming years, efforts will continue systematically and consistently to elevate the tourism sector to a higher level and transform Uzbekistan into an attractive international tourist destination.

The editorial team of Zamin.uz will continue to closely monitor the positive changes in our country's tourism sector and provide you with timely and interesting information about it. Stay with us!
