How did Ancelotti move to Brazil? FIFA has launched an official investigation!
The latest event that has caused a stir in the football world: the appointment of the famous Italian specialist Carlo Ancelotti to the Brazil national team has come under official scrutiny by FIFA. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed that it received an official letter from FIFA regarding this investigation.

The main reason for the FIFA investigation is related to the potential violation of international regulations concerning agency activities during Ancelotti's transfer to Brazil. Specifically, Ancelotti's representative Diego Fernandes was expected to receive a commission of 1.2 million euros without having an agency license.

The letter sent by FIFA states:

“Mr. Diego Fernandes is currently not registered as an agent, but he actively participated in the process of Carlo Ancelotti's transfer from Real to the Brazil national team and provided agency services.”

This situation is considered a violation of FIFA's new agents regulations that came into effect in 2023. According to these regulations, agency services can only be provided by individuals with an official license.

FIFA has demanded the Brazilian Football Confederation to provide the following:

• Information about all negotiations and meetings involving Diego Fernandes.
• Any contracts signed by Fernandes.
• Financial reports regarding the funds paid.
• An official explanation from CBF on this matter.

In response from CBF, the following information regarding the investigation was provided:

“Negotiations to involve Carlo Ancelotti in the Brazil national team were conducted during the previous administration of the organization. All agreements were made based on confidential contracts. The current administration is internally reviewing this matter.”

Meanwhile, Ancelotti's representative Diego Fernandes also commented on the issue. He emphasized that he acted not as an agent but as a consultant:

“Due to the negotiations being conducted in a very short period, I did not manage to register as an agent in FIFA's list. I will register as an official agent in the coming days and then hope to receive payment for my services.”

This incident is causing significant discussions in the football world. It highlights the need to reconsider not only appointments related to the Brazil national team but also issues concerning the entire football agency system.

The Zamin.uz editorial team will continue to monitor all developments regarding this matter and keep you informed with relevant information. It seems that the commotion surrounding a coach like Ancelotti will not leave the football environment anytime soon.
