Winter gas quota in Uzbekistan extended until 2026

The basic norm for natural gas consumption during the winter season across Uzbekistan has been extended until March 15, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This norm amounts to 500 cubic meters in each region and is valid until the specified date. According to the Ministry of Energy, weather conditions will also be taken into account after March 15.
If necessary, additional measures are planned to be taken. This decision was made to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to the population during the winter period.
The Ministry of Energy emphasized that it will continue to take necessary measures to ensure the stability of gas supply to the population. In this way, special attention is being paid to maintaining balance in gas supply issues in the country.
