The problem of crossing the Sergeli canal has been resolved.

An official statement has been issued regarding the pressing issue of crossing a canal located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
In recent days, local residents, particularly young children and school students, have faced significant difficulties crossing this canal. To ensure their safety, residents often had to use communication pipes, a situation that sparked considerable public concern and protest.
Considering the seriousness of the issue, district administration leaders and relevant officials organized an emergency response. Officials visited the site to personally assess the situation and conduct a detailed investigation.
As a result of these inspections, several urgent decisions were made to ensure public safety. Instead of completely closing the crossing point temporarily, work has begun to organize and improve the area.
Until large-scale construction works commence, the path over the pipes is being equipped with special protective barriers and supporting structures. These measures guarantee safe passage across the canal for pedestrians, especially children who go to school every day.
In the future, a new bridge meeting modern standards for pedestrians and light vehicles is planned to be built to fundamentally resolve this issue. Responsible officials emphasized that the construction of the new facility will be implemented in stages to create a convenient and safe environment for residents.
Currently, all processes in this area are under strict control, and safety measures are being further strengthened. The district administration has pledged to continue its constant efforts to ensure the well-being of residents.
