Annual mandatory medical examinations will be introduced for teachers.

A new and serious initiative has been launched to continuously monitor the health of teachers and educators in schools and other educational institutions in Uzbekistan. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, starting from next year, all pedagogical staff working across the republic will be required to undergo annual mandatory medical examinations. The main objective of this decision is to ensure the physical and mental health of specialists, help them work effectively in their professional field, and provide quality education to students.
Based on the terms of this draft project, medical examinations for teachers working in state educational organizations will be fully funded by the budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This creates broad opportunities for early detection and treatment of diseases.
Teachers in non-state educational institutions will undergo examinations at licensed state or private medical centers at the expense of their employers. The organization and control of the process will be fully the responsibility of the employer.
Particularly noteworthy is that even if a teacher temporarily leaves their workplace during the medical examination process, their position will be retained and their average salary will be paid in full according to the established procedure. This eliminates additional concerns for teachers and allows them to focus fully on their health.
The new system aims to organize work in the education sector in a more humane and safe environment. A teacher's health is not just their personal interest but also an important factor for the future of the entire student community and the quality of education.
Considering the specific needs of our people, this decision has garnered great interest and praise on social networks, becoming a bright example of stability and attention for teachers.
