Sixty-six compatriots returned safely to their homeland from Qatar.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Qatar has carried out another successful operation to safely return its citizens to their homeland. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In recent days, on March 13 and 14, a total of seventy-six compatriots, including more than fifty young people, students, and guests, reached Dubai in the United Arab Emirates by buses from Doha. From there, they traveled to Tashkent by special flights and returned safely to their homeland.
These organizational efforts are considered the final stage of a large-scale plan implemented for all citizens wishing to leave the country. In total, as a result of evacuation measures jointly organized by the embassy and the Compatriots Public Fund, five hundred forty-eight Uzbeks were safely evacuated from Qatar.
This group mainly consisted of those traveling for tourism, students studying abroad, and individuals temporarily working. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were chosen as transit routes for all citizens, and arrangements were made to deliver them to Tashkent through these routes.
During this process, the safety and comfort of every individual were ensured. This final mission was part of the Uzbek government's significant efforts to protect the lives and health of our citizens in the Middle East.
According to official information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since last year, amid increasing military tensions in the region, a total of thirty-two thousand nine hundred thirty-six compatriots have been safely returned to their homeland. The government continues to closely monitor the situation to provide necessary assistance and ensure the safety of all our citizens abroad.
These actions demonstrate the state's care and responsibility towards its population even more clearly.
