Ramadan begins on Friday, March 20.

The Uzbekistan Muslim Board has determined the exact date and prayer time for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
The Eid al-Fitr festival, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, falls on March 20, Friday. Taking this information into account, the Board has separately approved the hours for Eid prayers across regions and cities throughout the country.
In eastern regions, namely Andijan, Fergana, and Namangan provinces, the Eid prayer begins at 06:40 in the morning. For residents of Tashkent city and Tashkent region, this sacred worship is performed at 06:50.
In the centrally located Sirdaryo province, prayers begin at 06:55, while in Jizzakh and Samarkand provinces they start at 07:00. In the southwestern part of the country, including Navoiy, Bukhara, Qashqadaryo, and Surxondaryo provinces, the Eid prayer is performed at 07:05.
In western regions, prayers are held at 07:25 in Khorezm province and at 07:30 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. An important decision was also made regarding the official celebration of the holiday.
Yesterday, March 18, a special decree was signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on celebrating the holy Eid al-Fitr. According to this decision, based on information from the Uzbekistan Muslim Board, it was confirmed that the first day of Eid al-Fitr this year falls on March 20.
Thus, March 20 has been designated as the official holiday day for Eid al-Fitr throughout the country and will be widely celebrated by the population. Every family and patriotic citizen should welcome this joyful day with happiness.
