Heavy rains will follow warm spring days in Uzbekistan

According to information provided by the Uzgidromet center, a sharp change in weather conditions is expected across the territory of Uzbekistan in the coming days. Zamin.uz reported this.
On Monday and Tuesday, dry and warm weather will persist in most parts of the country. Daytime temperatures will be warm, ranging from 25 to 30 degrees, and these spring-like warm days will continue for a short period.
The situation will change starting April 14. As a result of moist air currents entering the western regions, rain is expected in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and Bukhara regions.
Thunderstorms may occur in some areas. On April 15 and 16, moist air masses will cover the entire territory of the republic.
Consequently, intermittent rain will fall in all regions, with precipitation becoming heavy in some places. During this period, the air temperature is forecast to drop sharply, hovering around 13-16 degrees during the day.
On April 17, precipitation will mainly persist in the central and eastern regions. In high mountain areas, there is a possibility that rain will turn into snow.
Additionally, from April 14 to April 16, wind speeds across the republic are expected to increase up to 15-20 meters per second, and up to 28 meters per second in some places. This may lead to dust storm conditions in these areas.
We warn residents living in mountainous areas about the risk of mudflows and floods and urge them to take precautionary measures. In Tashkent city, no precipitation is expected on April 13-14, and the weather will be warm.
However, from April 15-17, the weather in the capital will also change, with rain and a drop in temperature. Wind speeds may increase up to 15 meters per second.
In conclusion, spring warmth will be replaced by cool and damp weather in the coming days. We recommend that our citizens plan their movements taking these weather changes into account.
