Heavy rain and wind are expected in Uzbekistan in mid-April

Moist and cool air masses are expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan from April 14 to 17 this year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Hydrometeorological Service Agency has issued an urgent warning regarding these weather changes. According to forecasts, rain will begin in the northwestern regions of the country on April 14.
From April 15 to 17, precipitation will cover most regions of the republic. In some areas, there is a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
In mountainous areas, rain is expected to turn into snow due to a drop in air temperature. The change in weather conditions will also lead to an increase in wind speed.
In some parts of the republic, wind speeds may reach 15-20 meters per second, and in certain areas up to 25-28 meters per second. Additionally, dust storms are possible in some regions on April 14-15.
Air temperatures will also drop significantly. From April 15 to 17, daytime temperatures are expected to gradually decrease, hovering around 13-16 degrees Celsius.
Experts urge citizens to be cautious under such unfavorable weather conditions. In particular, citizens planning to visit mountainous areas are advised to follow all safety rules and take the weather changes into account.
During strong winds and precipitation, caution is advised when walking outdoors, as well as avoiding parking cars under trees and power lines. It is recommended to monitor weather updates and rely on official reports.
