Unexpected snow fell in the Suffa area of Zomin district in spring

An unexpected weather phenomenon was recorded during the spring season in the Suffa area of Zomin district, Jizzakh region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Uzgidromet agency announced that snowfall was observed in this mountainous region on April 16. According to data provided by specialists, the snowfall began at 9:45 AM.
The event occurred at an altitude of approximately two thousand four hundred meters above sea level. Moderate snowfall was observed, with a ground thickness of two centimeters.
No negative consequences or emergency situations arose as a result of this natural phenomenon. It was confirmed that no damage was caused to the infrastructure or the lives of the population in the area.
The exact geographic coordinates of the point where the event was recorded are marked as 39 degrees 37 minutes 36.4 seconds north latitude and 68 degrees 28 minutes 19.5 seconds east longitude. Synopticians from the weather service noted that such occurrences in the upper parts of mountainous areas during the spring months are considered a natural process.
