President Mirziyoyev is on a friendly visit to Kazakhstan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Astana at the invitation of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
After the state leader's plane landed at the airport of Kazakhstan's capital, he was warmly greeted by high-ranking officials. Representatives of the Kazakh government, including Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, participated in the welcoming ceremony.
During this visit, the strategic importance of friendly relations and regional cooperation between the two countries was once again highlighted. As planned, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the Regional Ecological Summit scheduled for April 22.
He will also attend a meeting of the heads of founding states of the international fund dedicated to addressing the Aral Sea issues. Key topics of the summit include the ecological situation in the Aral Sea region, efficient use of water resources, and strengthening regional stability.
Experts assess it as an important platform that will elevate ecological cooperation to a new level. Overall, this visit is considered a significant step not only in bilateral diplomatic relations but also in jointly finding solutions to ecological challenges specific to our region.
It will contribute to the further expansion and deepening of cooperation between the two countries.
