Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay a working visit to the capital of Kazakhstan

At the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana on April 21–22. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of the visit, the head of state is scheduled to participate in prestigious regional events and discuss important issues with the leaders of neighboring countries. Specifically, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the Regional Environmental Summit and the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
These forums serve as an important platform for further strengthening cooperation among Central Asian countries and finding joint solutions to common problems. Issues of regional security and economic stability will also be considered during these meetings.
During the events, the most pressing issues serving the sustainable development of the region, including improving the environmental situation, mitigating the effects of climate change, and rational use of water resources, will be analyzed in detail.
