Sales Volume in Uzbekistan's Real Estate Market Increases Sharply

With the onset of spring this year, a significant increase in activity has been observed in the real estate market of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to analytical data provided by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, the number of residential real estate purchase and sale agreements nationwide reached 43.6 thousand in March. Compared to February, this figure indicates a 47% growth in market activity.
Such a sharp rise has drawn the attention of industry experts and analysts. According to experts, several key factors drove this market revival.
In particular, new settlement procedures expected to be implemented starting in April prompted many buyers to act quickly. Citizens sought to finalize their planned purchases before the new rules came into effect.
Consequently, the balance between supply and demand shifted in favor of buyer activity in March. Positive growth rates are also evident when analyzing annual indicators.
The number of transactions in March of this year doubled compared to the same period last year. This demonstrates the stable development of the country's real estate market and the sustained purchasing power of the population.
This trend was observed not only in the capital but across all regions of the republic. By region, the highest growth rates were recorded in Sirdaryo, Jizzakh, and Namangan regions.
For instance, the number of transactions in the Jizzakh region increased by more than 73%, while in Sirdaryo, this figure was nearly 65%. Additionally, sales volumes in Andijan, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Surkhandaryo regions, the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as Tashkent city and Tashkent region, rose within the range of 40% to 50%.
These figures confirm the high demand for housing nationwide and the growing confidence among market participants.
