It is expected that a relatively cool and humid air flow, which is not typical for the summer season, will enter the territory of Uzbekistan on June 6-7. This was reported by specialists from the "Uzgidromet" center.
Starting from tomorrow, the weather will change sharply, primarily in the northern and western regions of our country — the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, and Kashkadarya regions. Short-term rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds may be observed in these areas.
On June 7, the cool air wave will cover the city of Tashkent and the Tashkent region, Surkhandarya, and the Fergana Valley regions. Precipitation is expected in local areas, and there is a possibility of increased wind speed along with thunderstorm weather.
Temperature indicators will significantly decrease across the country. On June 6, in the northern and southern regions, as well as in desert areas, the temperature is expected to drop to 28-33 degrees during the day and to 25-27 degrees during rain. On June 7, the air temperature in the central and eastern regions will also drop to these levels.
On June 8, precipitation will cease across the entire republic, and the weather will start to warm up again, with temperatures rising by an average of 2-3 degrees. During these days, wind speeds across the country may reach 13-18 meters per second in some places, and in certain areas, up to 20-22 meters per second, which may be accompanied by dust storms.
In our capital city, Tashkent, there will be no precipitation on June 6, the weather will be variable, and the temperature will be around 33 degrees during the day. On June 7, short-term rain and thunderstorms will be observed, and the temperature will drop to 27-29 degrees. From June 8, hot weather without precipitation will return to the capital, with temperatures rising to 33-35 degrees.
Therefore, our citizens are asked to be cautious and to follow safety rules during strong winds and thunderstorms. Caution is also required while moving on the roads.
Such sharp changes in the weather can have an adverse effect on the body, so take care of your health and always follow meteorological warnings!
