Arms smuggling was uncovered at the "Yallama" border post
At the "Yallama" border customs post, an attempt to smuggle a pneumatic weapon and 500 rounds of ammunition was uncovered. This was reported by the official channel of the Tashkent region customs department.
A vehicle under citizen control was subjected to customs inspection at the "Yallama" border customs post in accordance with established procedures.
As a result of the inspection, it was found that there were 2 units of "Hatsan" brand pneumatic rifles of 4.5 mm caliber and 500 rounds of ammunition that were not declared by the passenger and were not mentioned in the oral inquiry, as well as lacking the necessary permits.
Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out regarding this case.
Note! According to the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "Weapons," the import, export, and transit of civilian and service weapons, as well as their ammunition, is carried out based on the permission of the relevant state authorities.
