The number of tourists coming to Uzbekistan is increasing

In the first half of 2025, the number of foreign tourists coming to Uzbekistan significantly increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the Tourism Committee, the number of visitors to the country exceeds 1 million every month. This information was published by Kursiv.media.

Compared to 2024, the number of tourists has increased by approximately 20 percent. This situation indicates a growing interest in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, the reforms being implemented in the tourism sector of the country are also yielding results. For example, in April, Uzbekistan welcomed more than 1 million foreign guests for the first time in its history.

In May, this figure reached 1.1 million. In June, the number of tourists remained around 1.1 million, maintaining a positive trend.

This growth is closely related to the ongoing efforts to develop the tourism infrastructure in the country, improve the quality of services, ensure safety, and promote cultural heritage sites. At the same time, Uzbekistan is becoming one of the major tourist destinations on an international scale.

This is also serving to expand cooperation opportunities across all sectors in the country. The development in the tourism sector positively impacts other branches of the economy.
