The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan has approved the minimum scores required for transferring from private and foreign higher education institutions to state higher education institutions for the 2025/2026 academic year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
With this decision, the transfer scores for students have been clearly defined. The highest transfer score is in the "Law" field, where students need to score at least 165 points to transfer to a state higher education institution.
This figure has been increased compared to last year, as the minimum score was previously 140. The lowest transfer scores are around 60-70, which pertain to the "Veterinary" and "Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries" fields.
Additionally, a minimum of 105 points is required for transferring to social sciences and business fields. In the fields of education, languages, environment, mathematics, statistics, and social protection, the minimum score is set at 94.
For natural sciences, including physics and biology, a minimum of 80 points is required. These new scores aim to make the selection process for students more qualitative and fair during the academic year.
The established minimum scores for transferring to higher education institutions were reviewed with the aim of improving student qualifications and the admission process.
