In Uzbekistan, hot air flows from the south are expected on July 17-19. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this period, the temperature may rise to 40-45 degrees in some regions. The Ministry of Health is urging the population to pay special attention to their health in such hot conditions.
In the heat, it is especially necessary for children, the elderly, pregnant women, and those suffering from chronic diseases to be cautious. Hot weather puts a heavy load on the body's thermoregulation system, which increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, general weakness, and heatstroke.
During the day, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the sun's rays will be the strongest, so it is recommended to stay in closed and cool places during this time. If necessary, it is essential to go outside with an umbrella and a wide-brimmed hat, and to wear sunglasses for protection from the sun.
When choosing clothing, it is advisable to prefer light, loose-fitting clothes made from natural fabrics in light colors. At home, it is recommended to keep windows closed during the day, and to ventilate at night, while limiting the use of heat-generating household appliances.
To lower body temperature during the day, taking a cool shower is possible, but it is necessary not to use very cold water. It is advisable to reduce physical activity in hot weather and to conduct sports activities in air-conditioned buildings.
During exercise, one should monitor their body condition, and if dizziness or weakness occurs, it is essential to stop immediately. People with chronic illnesses should not increase physical activity on hot days without consulting a doctor.
Following such precautionary measures will help maintain health and prevent health problems in hot conditions. Every citizen should approach their health with responsibility.
