In the upcoming weekends, high temperatures will prevail in the territory of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to O‘zgidromet, due to the inflow of dry and hot air from the southern regions, temperatures will significantly rise in many places. During the daytime, the air temperature is expected to reach +40 to +43 degrees, and in some southern and desert areas, it may reach +44 to +45 degrees.
This level of heat is particularly dangerous for the elderly and children. In the northwestern regions, particularly in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, a slight coolness may be observed.
On Sunday, temperatures in these areas will rise to +35 to +38 degrees. Additionally, in some places, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 meters per second, which can lead to dust storms and air pollution.
Such conditions will cause discomfort for individuals with respiratory issues. In the capital, Tashkent, the sky will mostly be clear, with nighttime temperatures ranging from +24 to +27 degrees, and daytime temperatures reaching +40 to +43 degrees.
Therefore, on Saturday and Sunday, the heat will intensify in Tashkent as well. Authorities are urging the population to protect themselves from sunlight, stay in shaded areas, drink more water, and maintain a cool environment.
Every citizen should prioritize their health, avoiding unnecessary activities and long walks in open air. Even a short time spent outside in such hot weather can negatively affect health.
