Germany has presented a new achievement in the field of modern military technologies. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the LandEuro 2025 exhibition, Rheinmetall showcased the Skyranger 30 mobile air defense system. This system holds strategic importance not only for Germany but for all of Europe and NATO.
The Skyranger 30 is equipped with a 30-millimeter cannon and programmable AHEAD ammunition, capable of detecting, tracking, and destroying up to eight aerial targets simultaneously. This system operates effectively against unmanned aerial vehicles, new types of munitions, and traditional aerial objects.
According to test results, the Skyranger 30 demonstrates high efficiency against small and low-observable targets moving at speeds of up to 300 meters per second. Another important aspect of the system is that it is built on the principle of "open architecture."
This capability allows for the integration of radars, optoelectronic stations, surface-to-air missiles, and electronic warfare tools. As a result, the Skyranger 30 will be adaptable not only to current threats but also to future ones.
Rheinmetall has already received several orders from NATO countries, and experts predict that the market size for Skyranger 30 systems will exceed 15 billion euros within the next five years. According to experts, in an environment where the threat from drones and new generation aerial weapons is increasing, systems like the Skyranger 30 will play a crucial role in military security.
This innovative achievement from Germany is expected to elevate NATO defense to a new level. Experts are closely monitoring the future role and capabilities of new defense systems.
