Ter Shtegen sharply condemned the Spanish media for spreading false information

Experienced goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen of "Barcelona" and the German national team issued an official statement regarding false reports about his personal life spread by the Spanish media.
According to reports in the media, ter Stegen's wife Daniela has cheated, and for this reason, the couple has decided to divorce. However, the 32-year-old goalkeeper firmly denied this information, stating that such reports are baseless.
Ter Stegen accused the media
The German goalkeeper specifically criticized "Catalunya Radio" and "3Cat Group" media companies, accusing them of spreading false information:
"Dear public, the poor management and lack of leadership and oversight at 'Catalunya Radio' and '3Cat Group' shocked me and left me disheartened. They are engaged in spreading false information and violating personal rights."
He emphasized that the journalists from these radio stations distorted the truth and spread incorrect information about Daniela.
"The journalists of this radio are liars, spreading false news and publicly insulting my wife Daniela and her reputation."
"There has been no infidelity"
Ter Stegen rejected the rumors and asked for understanding regarding their family decision:
"There has been no infidelity on Daniela's part. This is the truth. We mutually agreed to go our separate ways. However, we will maintain our friendly relationship."
Spanish media under criticism again
The spread of such false reports by the media has sparked various discussions in the public. The main goalkeeper of "Barcelona" called on media representatives to adhere to ethical standards and not to interfere in personal lives:
"It is absolutely unacceptable for leading state media to unjustly accuse Daniela and spread this information."
Ter Stegen's statement gained widespread attention, and the player received support from fans. Meanwhile, the management of "Barcelona" has not officially commented on the situation.
This incident has also reignited debates about how Spanish media crosses boundaries when discussing players' personal lives.
