Zelensky visited Saudi Arabia: negotiations with the USA and new proposals
On March 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made an official visit to Saudi Arabia. This was reported by his advisor Dmitry Litvin, according to the "Ukrinform" agency.

Zelensky will not meet with US representatives

The negotiations between Ukraine and the USA are planned to take place in the city of Jeddah, on the Red Sea coast. However, Zelensky will not personally participate in these negotiations.

As the president himself noted, the following will participate in the meeting on behalf of Ukraine:

- Head of the Presidential Office Andrey Yermak,
- His deputy Pavlo Palisa,
- Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga,
- Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

US and Russia communication: conflicts regarding participation

According to CNN, this week US and Russian officials may hold separate meetings in Saudi Arabia.

However, Maria Zakharova, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, denied this information and rejected the participation of Russian representatives in such meetings.

Ukraine's new proposal: ceasefire in the air and at sea

On March 11, Kyiv will propose to US officials to cease fire in the air and at sea against Russia. This was stated by an unnamed Ukrainian official to the AFP agency.

"We have a proposal to cease fire in the air and at sea, as these are options that are easy to implement and monitor," he said.

Although Ukraine has announced its readiness to stop direct combat operations with Russia, it is unclear how this proposal will be received.

Will the US continue to share intelligence with Kyiv?

Ukrainian officials are warning that if the US stops sharing intelligence, Russia could gain a significant advantage on the battlefield.

"The main thing is the timing. If the pause is prolonged, it will give the Russians a significant advantage," the source said.

One day earlier, US President Donald Trump had stated that he was ready to resume intelligence sharing with Ukraine "at any moment."

This meeting is of great importance for the relations between Ukraine and the USA and for the potential negotiations with Russia. The negotiations in Jeddah could set new strategic directions for Ukraine's future.
