The head of the American Association for Arms Control, Deril Kimbol, described Medvedev's words as emotional and childish.

In his opinion, these statements resemble the fearful imagination of a young child. However, Americans emphasize that there is also a threat in these words that could lead to serious nuclear tensions.

Currently, many politicians and experts in the US are placing the primary responsibility for the emerging situation not on Medvedev, but on President Donald Trump. Elena Petrova, a nuclear strategy expert at the Atlantic Institute, states that this situation has become very delicate.

According to her, statements about repositioning nuclear submarines are being made by Trump to escalate the level of threat and intensify the conflict. Trump's former advisor John Bolton criticized the president's decisions as "very dangerous business."

Additionally, for the first time since 2008, the US has delivered nuclear weapons to Great Britain. On July 16, an American military aircraft flew from the Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico carrying a nuclear weapon and landed at the Lakeinheath airbase in Great Britain.

This flight was broadcast live over the internet. Bloomberg assessed this action as a clear signal to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Serious conflicts and political games related to nuclear weapons indicate that a new dangerous era has begun for global stability. Experts emphasize that objectively assessing the situation and maintaining political balance is of utmost importance.
