Poland will buy 180 tanks in five years
In the next five years, the Polish army plans to significantly increase its military capabilities. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Warsaw government is taking clear and firm steps in this regard. The main focus is on purchasing new tanks, which will serve to strengthen the country's defense capabilities.

It has been reported that the Polish government has signed a contract worth a total of $6.7 billion with South Korea. Under this agreement, Poland will receive 180 modern, high-tech K2 series tanks.

Of these, 61 will be assembled directly in Poland. This will not only boost the development of the national industry but also create new jobs for local specialists.

According to the Polish Ministry of Defense, as a result of this extensive modernization, the number of tanks in the country's army is expected to reach approximately 1,100 by 2030. This figure will exceed the total tank capabilities of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

If the project is implemented on time and in full, Poland will become a country with one of the largest tank fleets not only in Eastern Europe but throughout the European continent. This holds strategic importance for NATO.

Currently, Poland is actively engaging in military policy. In order to strengthen national security and be prepared for regional threats, it is expanding military cooperation with foreign partners.

This move by Poland could set new directions in the European defense balance. In the coming years, time will show how these changes will impact regional and European security.

However, one thing is clear — Warsaw is making serious efforts to achieve its goals resolutely.
