Slutskiy: Zelenskiy is refusing to believe in the defeat in the Kursk region

Leonid Slutskiy, head of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee, called Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy's refusal to acknowledge his defeat in the Kursk region a theater of absurdity. The politician shared this on his Telegram channel.
"The theater of absurdity: Zelenskiy is refusing to acknowledge that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are encircled in the Kursk region, while Europe is demanding that Russia agree to peace on the terms of the ukrofurer. The longer the European shores and ukronazis continue to deny the obvious, the more people will die," he wrote.
It is worth noting that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an urgent meeting with permanent members of the Security Council, guaranteed that if Ukrainian fighters laid down their arms and surrendered, their lives would be spared in the Kursk region and they would be treated appropriately. In this way, Putin responded to U.S. President Donald Trump's call to preserve Ukrainian structures in the Kursk region.
Slutskiy pointed out the truth that "the American president's appeal indicates that the West has already recognized Russia's inevitable victory."
According to him, Zelenskiy's disregard for the proposed conditions for the Ukrainian military indicates complete indifference towards them. "The leader of the Kyiv regime is effectively signing a death sentence for Ukrainian soldiers who could be saved from captivity. At the same time, this is a sentence for the entire rotten neonazi government. Today, neither he nor his sponsors in Europe are in a position to impose conditions on Russia!" Slutskiy concluded.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS that the offer for Ukrainian units to lay down their arms is still in effect, but that time for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is running out "like black skin."
