Why didn't Hollywood star Ben Affleck buy his son a $6,000 pair of sneakers?

Many stars do not limit their children in anything. However, Ben Affleck is not one of them. At a sneaker exhibition in Los Angeles, he did not buy his son Samuel a pair of shoes worth $6,000.
“I have money, but you don’t! You need to work hard to get them,” the star told his son in response to his request.

The conversation was about Dior sneakers, which Sem wanted to buy because of the brand and price. In any case, Ben Affleck thought so. His son tried to convince him that he had been wanting the same sneakers for a long time:
“Yes, they are durable! I have always said they look good.”
Ben believes that children should understand from a young age that they need money to buy something, and that money can only be earned.
“I know what will happen when I say they need to work. Suddenly, the sneakers will no longer be needed,” says the actor.

Many fans have approved of the actor's parenting style. They wrote in comments on the video about this:
“It’s nice to see the actor trying to instill traditional values in his children,” write internet users.
