The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the conclusion of a video conference between the US president and European Union leaders. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

She noted that the conversation took place in a calm and productive atmosphere, with participants openly discussing important issues. According to von der Leyen, US President Donald Trump, European leaders, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky participated in the video conference.

The meeting discussed preparations and the agenda for the upcoming bilateral summit in Alaska, as well as format issues. Additionally, the participants of the video conference achieved a common understanding and alignment of positions regarding the situation in Ukraine.

This increases the level of political preparedness, allowing for quick and effective decision-making in future communications. The President of Ukraine visited Germany and participated in the conversation alongside German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
