A new attack against railway infrastructure occurred in Bavaria, Germany. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On August 12, at around 5:00 AM, several cables used in the switch and signal systems were cut by unknown individuals on the Rodental route near the city of Coburg. The cables were quickly repaired, but the police are investigating this incident as a sabotage, meaning a deliberately executed attack.
The damage is currently estimated at approximately 20,000 euros. This incident is considered the fourth such occurrence in the German railway network since July.
Previously, fires had been set at railway facilities in Düsseldorf and Saxony-Anhalt regions. A left-wing radical group named "Kommando Angry Birds" has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
Currently, the police are working to determine the causes of the incident and to strengthen security measures. Preventing such attacks is crucial for the stable operation of railway infrastructure.
