
At least twenty people were killed as a result of two attacks by Israel on the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis city in Gaza. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Among the victims are five international journalists. According to the BBC, medical staff were also among those killed.
The second attack targeted rescuers who had arrived to assist those injured after the first attack. The journalists who died were associated with prestigious global outlets, including Reuters, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, and Middle East Eye.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the incident as a tragic accident and announced that a comprehensive investigation is underway. The United Nations (UN) announced that at least 242 journalists have been killed during the ongoing war in Gaza.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for an independent investigation into the deaths of media personnel. He also drew special attention to the increasing number of children dying from hunger.
Since October 2023, more than one hundred children have died due to starvation. These events are being seriously discussed within the framework of human rights and international law.
