
New information has been revealed regarding the death of one of the legends of world football – Diego Maradona. According to forensic expert Carlos Mauricio Cassinelli, the heart of the Argentine football star weighed 503 grams, which is twice the normal size for an adult.
Heart problems and causes of death
Investigations have indicated that Maradona's heart was completely covered in a layer of fat, which suggests serious cardiovascular issues.
According to the expert, a thrombus (blood clot) had formed in Maradona's heart, indicating that he may have suffered for a long time before his death. Cassinelli stated that the deceased was in pain for approximately 12 hours.
Initially, it was said that he died of a heart attack. However, the forensic examination revealed that he died from acute pulmonary edema and chronic heart failure.
Maradona's son's claims
