
During an important meeting held in Ankara, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan communicated with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the President, the responsibility to speak on behalf of Palestine at the UN General Assembly starting on September 23 has been assigned specifically to Turkey. Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey consistently keeps the issue of Palestine on the agenda across all international platforms.
According to him, the country's main goal and priority is to immediately establish peace in the Gaza Strip and to address the humanitarian disaster that has arisen in the region. The Turkish leader also stressed that Ankara will never retreat from providing political and diplomatic support to the Palestinian people.
He stated that such steps are not only important for Palestine but also crucial for ensuring stability and peace throughout the entire region. Furthermore, Turkey will continue to play an active role in resolving this issue in cooperation with the international community.
