An Uzbek woman was stabbed to death in Istanbul
On September 21, 2023, it was reported that a 36-year-old Uzbek woman was stabbed to death by an unknown person in her home in Istanbul, Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The deceased had previously been deported from Turkey for violating residency rules and was banned from entering the country. It was also found that she had changed her name and surname and re-entered Turkey.

Currently, Turkish law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into the incident. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has issued an official statement regarding the case.

The consulate is providing the necessary legal and organizational assistance to bring the deceased's body to Uzbekistan and hand it over to her family members. The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and all necessary measures are being taken.
