34 Palestinian students have been given the opportunity to study at universities in the United Kingdom, having been evacuated from Gaza and arrived in the country for education. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This event marks the first assistance provided to students to leave Gaza for education since the beginning of the war. The students were first taken to Jordan and underwent visa checks.
They are currently registering at universities in London, Edinburgh, and Manchester. Some students began their classes within a few hours after arriving in the country.
All of them have been provided with fully funded scholarships and received necessary support from the government. Despite the war and hardships, these students have gained the opportunity to pursue education.
Their arrival followed the transfer of seriously ill children from Gaza to Britain. This gives them the chance to start a new life and helps them in acquiring knowledge in the future.
Thus, this evacuation was an important step in protecting the students' right to education and supporting them.
