14 people died in a strong typhoon in Taiwan
At least 14 people died and more than 120 went missing as a result of the strong typhoon named “Ragasa” in Taiwan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Strong winds and rain caused significant damage to bridges, houses, and roads. In Hualien province, water flooded the lower floors and damaged many buildings.

In Hong Kong, strong winds and rain led to the temporary closure of schools and shops. At the same time, hundreds of flights were canceled, and the government advised residents to stay at home.

Due to increased danger in Guangdong province in southern China, more than 370,000 people were evacuated. The risk of flooding is further heightened as a large amount of rain is expected within a few hours.

The typhoon also caused damage earlier in the northern islands of the Philippines. Experts consider it the strongest storm of the year.

Measures are being taken to assist the local population and government. It is important that all agencies and citizens take precautions to reduce the consequences of this natural disaster.
